Here is my Sunday homily, Spiritual battle for our souls, in the midst of confusing times, 12 week Ordinary.

As some of you may have heard I will be moving to a new parish assignment at the IVE parish St. Veronica’s connected to St. Hugh’s in Philadelphia. I will leave Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara California July 10 for the new assignment.

Pray for me with the new assignment and that I have time to study preparing for the defense of my PhD in the fall.

Sunday Homily, Unfolding of the Eucharistic presence of Jesus in our time, Corpus Christi

Here is my Sunday Homily for the feast of Corpus Christi – Unfolding of the Eucharistic presence of Jesus in our time

Draw close to the Eucharistic Jesus.

I encourage you to meditate more on the documented Eucharistic miracles throughout the centuries. See a link for the exhibit I mention, EUCHARISTIC MIRACLES. The recent one in Buenos Aires, Argentina is particularly interesting as it has been scientifically studied.  See Buenos Aires part I, part II, part III.

We have this Eucharistic Miracles exhibit at Our Lady of Peace, Church and shrine, Santa Clara, California now. We have it every year for the week of Corpus Christi feast day.

I mention themes of healing understanding of love through healing our image of God who is love. I recommend the following books:

Healing of Memories: Prayer and Confessions Steps to Inner Healing, Matthew and Dennis Linn

Faith of the Fatherless: The Psychology of Atheism, Dr. Paul Vitz

The Healing Power of a Father’s blessing, Linda Schubert
