Marian mission at St. Veronica’s may the Blessed Virgin Mary conquer all for Jesus!
I will have a Marian Mission in my parish in North Philadelphia from June 19-25. If you know anyone who would like to join in the mission for a day or even a few hours please send them my way. The idea is simple—to put the Blessed Virgin Mary everywhere. This is inspired by Bishop Oliver Dashe Doeme from the Diocese of Maiduguri in northern Nigeria. He saw his people being overrun by radical Islamic terrorist, Boko Harem. When he prayed the Rosary before Christ in the Eucharist, the Lord told him the Rosary will overcome them.
My parish’s boundaries are located in what the police call “the badlands”, one of the worst area for drugs and violence in North Philadelphia in the second poorest zip code in the country. I hope to put the Blessed Virgin Mary everywhere through continuous Rosary marches, some processions, as well as, enthroning statues of Mary in homes and in local stores.
If you know any group who wants to come send me a note. Let us me how many are coming. We have some limited accommodations for adults and families with children at a retreat center for any who want to stay overnight. Already they can sign up to lead rosaries in groups up 3 to 5 or more. See the following link and fill in your names: Rosary march signup. Please pass this request on to everyone you know.
I am looking for Gideon’s army to pray over the area. So, if people are afraid don’t come. I am attaching a letter you can post.
For those who are a long distance away please keep this mission in your special prayers. I appreciate pledges of Mass intentions, rosaries and any financial donations to support the mission.
Blessings upon you in Jesus and Mary.
I will have updates on my parish facebook page under events section, at https://www.facebook.com/stveronicaparish/
